CareerSource South Florida continues to monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and timely disseminate critical information. We are committed to safeguarding the health and wellness of our community.

Temporary emergency policies are being implemented to address the current worldwide pandemic and should not be considered permanent changes unless otherwise noted.

Our Career Centers are closed to the public. In order to serve the immediate needs of job seekers and the general public, we are offering a variety of convenient employment services that don’t require individuals to visit one of our career centers.

While ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to limit face-to-face contact, CareerSource South Florida will continue to provide needed services on-line and via phone at 305-929-1547, Monday thru Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm.

How to Access Available Services

If you are in need of Services, and have never visited a Career Center before the first thing you must do is:

If you reside in Miami-Dade County, register for an account in Employ Miami Dade.
You can register by clicking on the link below:

If you reside in Monroe County, register for an account in Employ Monroe.
You can register by clicking on the link below:

https://www.employ-monroe.com/vosnet/Default.aspx

In order to receive services, you must be fully registered by completing the following documents:

1) Demographic Information
2) Educational Background
3) Work History, and;
4) Active Resume.

Returning customers must verify that their account is active and up to date prior to requesting services. Once you have verified your account:

Dial: 305-929-1547 and follow the prompt for the service required.

• Press 1 if you live in North Miami Dade
• Press 2 if you live in Central Miami Dade
• Press 3 if you live in South Miami Dade
• Press 4 if you live in Monroe County

Then the system will ask you to select the Career Center that you would like to connect too? For example if I had selected one, then the next prompt would be:

• Press 1 for Carol City
• Press 2 for Opa Locka
• Press 3 for Northside
• Press 4 for North Miami Beach

If you have never visited a Career Center or registered with CareerSource in the past choose the location that is closest to the registration address you used to create your account.

Once you have selected the appropriate center, the prompt will ask you what type of services are you calling about?

• Press 1 for Employment Assistance
• Press 2 for Job Training
• Press 3 for Cash Assistance Program
• Press 4 for Food Stamps Program
• Press 0 for all other questions

CareerSource South Florida staff will be standing by and will able to assist you via phone or video chat, you do NOT need to come to the career center to receive services.
