Summary

If you recently arrived to the United States – 60 months or less – you may qualify to receive assistance with finding a job, skills training and other services leading to self-sufficiency.

The CareerSource South Florida serves three types of eligible refugees:

• Refugee Cash Assistance Client (eligibility determined by the Department of Children and Families)

• Welfare Transition Client (eligibility determined by the Department of Children and Families)

• A Refugee, with or without cash assistance, in the country for 60 months or less

ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE / INFORMATION

The CareerSource South Florida offers refugees social service referrals and information about other community resources that help newly arrived entrants live independently, and become self-sufficient.
